Another football season is here and in addition to Haley’s soccer schedule, we will also be adding 7th grade volleyball to the mix. I just thought we have been busy the past few years, but now we are going to kick it up a notch.
I’m disappointed that I will be losing my zumba class because I just won’t be able to make it. I have grown to love Zumba every week. I started going as soon as soccer season ended in May and tried to go 3 to 4 times a week. The past month, I’ve been lucky if I can get there twice a week. This week I won’t make it at all and I’m sure that’s my new normal with school starting on Monday.
I purchased a FitBit Flex in June and love, love, love it. It is an activity tracker and also tracks your sleep patterns. It has caused me to be aware of my activity levels. My coworker also bought one and you will find us during the day running in place in our offices to get our step counts up. We are constantly going back and forth asking, “how many steps do you have?” I don’t like to be behind, so I’m glad that I have her to push me to do better.
I have agreed to be on my local American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life Accounting Committee again for the upcoming year and we have our first meeting today. I’m excited to do this again even though I have stepped down from being my team’s captain, but I think I’ve left it in good hands.
I hope everyone has a wonderful football season!!
